Marco Esteve, Petusco Designer
Since he was a child, Marco Esteve was convinced that he wanted to dedicate himself to the exciting world of sewing and design. His parents had a clothing factory where he began to show interest by playing with the remnants.
In 1995, he graduated in Fashion Design, specializing in leather at the Centro Superior de Diseño de Moda de Madrid (CSDMM) of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where he would return as a teacher five years later (2000-2002).
Recently graduated, he started working at ALBERO PIEL, S.A. where he focused his career on the leather accessories sector and his brand “Petusco”. After more than two years, he continued his career in other companies of the sector.
After this first stage, in the year 2000, he decided to create his own workshop, developing collections for women, men, travel luggage and accessories for major Spanish leather goods companies and for almost all major national chains such as Zara, Mango, Induyco (Sintesis, Tintoretto, Emilio Tucci) and firms such as ElioBerhanyer, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and Caramelo, among others. He combined all this professional adventure with teaching Clothing Technology at the Centro Superior de Diseño de Moda in Madrid during the 2000/01 and 2001/02 academic years.
An enthusiast of challenges, at the beginning of 2014 he began a collaboration with Miguel Gómez in his new Petusco Heritage adventure, thus becoming the brand’s Creative Director.
